1. What are the overall strengths of your project?

The strength of my project is the editing. I believe that the edits I made in lightroom really improved the quality and aesthetic of the project. 

​2. What improvements could be made? 

The photography itself can be improved on some of the photos. For some of the images have a great difference in quality and definition. Especially the Rim photo with the light seeping directly into the camera lens. 

​ 3. What did you learn about lighting patterns?

I learned that lighting is a crucial part of setting a certain mood, look, and or theme. 

4. How did photographing an egg prepare you for photographing a classmate?

Photographing the egg gave me an idea of where to put the lighting in order to successfully capture a different types of photos. 

5. In what ways, were the two labs similar, and in what ways did the experiences differ?

The similarity I noticed between the two labs was the way the lighting was set up between the two labs. The difference I noticed between the two labs was the difference in the complexity and detailing of the shadows. 

6. Why is lighting important for a photographer to understand?  

Lighting is important for a photographer to understand because it makes up the quality, aesthetic, and mood of the photo. Which are all significant factors in taking a fine art photograph. 

7. How will you incorporate lighting in your photography in the future?

I will remember these different types of lighting patterns to photograph the best quality photos I can capture.
